In 2004 the Center for International Studies assisted the Department of
Political Science and International Relations in securing a multiyear
contract to teach a variety of non-credit Area Studies courses to DOD
and other governmental employees in the Washington-Baltimore area. CFIS
provides ongoing administrative, logistical, and teaching assistance in
the implementation of this program.
