Resolving Housing Conflicts:

Even with the most compatible of roommates, you'll likely face at least one housing conflict on your program. Most issues are minor. Light-sleepers should buy ear plugs if their roommate snores. Early-risers housed with night-owls should work-out a fair schedule or try to change roommates. Students are responsible for resolving these issues if possible (read this section of their orientation).

For more serious issues, however, ask us for help. If a student feels unsafe with their roommate, threatened by discrimination, or intimidated by drunken behavior, this is grounds to send someone home. Situations like these need to be addressed immediately. If a student brings these types of concerns to your attention, contact your program coordinator for guidance.
