Request Alternate Flight Arrangements:

We will make arrangements for you to travel with your group, unless you request otherwise. Before you complete the request form, we'd like to emphasize that these are only requests. Approval is not guaranteed (i.e. do not book a separate flight until you've received our official approval). Requests will only be considered until the deadline date announced in your acceptance email. Even if your request is approved, the airline may charge you a "deviator fee," which can be substantial ($150 is not unusual).

Before you choose the correct form, you need to know if you're going on a CFIS or Foreign Language and Literatures (FLL) study abroad program. If you're not sure, check here, then click the back button to return to this page.

• If you need to return from the program site separately from your group, complete Parts 1 and 2 on one of these two forms:
  • CFIS form

• If you need to travel to the program site separately from your group (i.e. book your own flights abroad and back), complete Parts 1 and 3 on one of these two forms:
  • CFIS form
  • FLL form
  If your request is approved, you will make your own flight arrangements and provide your faculty director and CFIS or FLL with the details of your travel arrangements.
