Program Overview
Study multinational firms in sunny Australia this January. Being so sparsely populated and isolated from many parts of the world, Australia faces some unique business challenges. In the field of IT, Australia has always depended heavily on telecommunications for education and business. In visiting Australian companies, students will see first-hand the importance of global IT issues on today’s business environment.
Based in Sydney and Brisbane, you’ll interact with locals and students as you study international IT and accounting. In addition, you’ll learn about the business and economic systems, political and legal systems, culture, technology and infrastructure of Australia through visits to local and multi-national companies. While in Sydney, we’ll climb the bridge, tour the Blue Mountains, spend time at The Rocks and tour the world-famous Opera House. This winter session program is planning a variety of other excursions including possible visits to the Great Barrier Reef, Hervey Bay, Fraser Island, and Steve Irwin's Australia zoo.
Students reside in double rooms in dormitories and hotels, with some meals provided.
Whether you’re interested in international business, Aussie culture, or seeing the beauties of Sydney and Brisbane, the accounting Winter Session in Australia is your chance to experience a true adventure Down Under.
