Study Abroad - Programs
Winter 2004
Australia MBA
January 9, 2004 - January 24, 2004 (tentative only)

This program has been cancelled for 04W. Check with the faculty director for more information

Program Overview

This program offers two MBA courses dealing with international business in both the Australian and South Asian markets, including China. BUAD 843 will emphasize special characteristics of both emerging South Asian and Chinese markets, and issues of strategy and coordination to compete in them. BUAD 854 will be offered in an equivalent form by University of Sydney faculty, with UD Department of Finance approval. This course will focus on the financial and capital markets of the region, and the emerging role of Sydney as the "London of the region." Travel will be for two weeks of classes and company visits in Australia. Students may choose to remain in Australia at their own expense for a third week of individual travel before returning to the U.S. to finish the courses.

Please note: The program fee for this year's program does not include airfare to/from Australia. Students will be responsible for getting to and from the program location independently. We estimate the cost of the plane ticket to be between $2000-2300, although you may be able to find a better individual fare.
