Summer 2005
Orlando, USA MEDT
July 24, 2005 - July 31, 2005 (tentative only)

This program has been cancelled for 05J. Check with the faculty director for more information

Program Overview

Moving from being a "student" to a "professional" requires more than just coursework. This course will introduce medical technology majors and those already in the clinical laboratory field to those aspects of professional development which are essential for success in the modern healthcare arena and for life-long learning. Included will be a first-hand experience at a national clinical laboratory science annual meeting in Orlando, FL, accompanied by on-site discussions and student presentations on campus.

Please note: The program fee includes seven nights’ accommodation in the conference hotel, ASCLS membership, meeting registration, and one conference meal. Students are responsible for travel costs to/from the conference site. The number and gender of program participants will determine lodging arrangements in the conference hotel. Therefore the final program fee cannot be set until after students have been accepted into the program. Depending on the lodging arrangements, the program fee will be set as follows: $720 double occupancy, $545 triple occupancy, $460 quadruple occupancy.
