Study Abroad - Programs
Winter 2006
Australia BUAD
January 2, 2006 - February 1, 2006

Please note that this program is highly competitive and will accept only a limited number of applicants.
Please note that this program has an early application and first deposit deadline of March 18, 2005.

Program Overview

Interested in international marketing and operations “down under”? Come to Australia, an important business hub for emerging Asia-Pacific businesses and markets, and a significant market in its own right.

You’ll tour about a dozen companies and organizations in Sydney, and company representatives will speak during site visits. Classes and company visits are typically held Monday through Thursday, leaving several three-day weekends for travel and sightseeing.

In your free time, you’ll have the chance to explore Sydney and other regions of the country: Ayers Rock, one of Australia’s most striking natural landscapes; the Great Barrier Reef, one of the underwater wonders of the world and several hours north of Sydney; and Sydney itself, home to a world-class opera house and, recently, to the Olympics. Travel to New Zealand is also possible.

To prepare for your experience, you’ll participate in at least three on-campus class meetings before departure.
