Program Overview
Study environmental ethics and sustainable management in Costa Rica, along with Costa Rican environmental foundations. Learn firsthand what's being done to protect some of the world's richest natural resources. Accommodations will include housing at the Tropical Youth Center of the Fundación Neotropica on the Osa Peninsula, as well as in parks and in other areas of the country.
The 2006 program will offer alternative tracks: (1) rainforest protection; (2) birds of Costa Rica; and (3) mammals (especially monkeys) in Corcovado National Park. WHEN SIGNING UP, STUDENTS MUST CHOOSE ONE OF THE AFOREMENTIONED.
