Visit the land of blarney. See Irish plays performed in the Abbey Theatre. Walk the streets of Yeats, Joyce, and Synge. Explore the beauties of Killarney, Kilkenny, and Wexford. Study Irish history and culture at the University College Dublin International Summer School. Experience the rugged West Coast beaches and the Arts Festival in Galway. See the Ring of Kerry and the Cliffs of Moher. Enjoy some of the world’s greatest plays, poems, and short stories. Come with us to Ireland in the summer of ’06.

We will fly into Dublin Airport and spend 17 days in the city of story and legend, based at the world renowned University College Dublin. Then we’ll travel down the coast to Wexford, Kilkenny, and Killarney, spending a few nights along the way. We will end our program with three nights in Galway, on the rugged West Coast, during the internationally famous Arts Festival. Enjoy a wide range of musical, dramatic and street performances.

In Dublin, students will reside in dormitory rooms at UCD, with cooking privileges and access to a cafeteria and many restaurants and pubs. On the road trip outside of Dublin, students will stay in double rooms in hotels with breakfasts and dinners provided in the Program Fee.

At the end of our trip, we will fly out of Shannon Airport in County Clare.
