Study Abroad - Programs
Summer 2003
Hawaii, USA
July 3, 2003 - July 31, 2003

This program has been cancelled for 03J. Check with the faculty director for more information

Program Overview

Study animal science production and leadership in Hawaii, the picturesque island state known for its tropical climate, pristine beaches, and clear blue waters.

Based at the University of Hawaii on Oahu, you’ll interact with resident Hawaiian students as you study local animal production issues. Students will experience this material hands-on through farm visits, field trips, leadership opportunities, and looking at topographical challenges. At the end of the program, each student will have a solid understanding of animal production in a markedly different environment and be certified as a trained facilitator.

Students will reside in double rooms, likely in dormitories, with some meals provided.

Whether you’re interested in animal science, leadership studies, Hawaiian culture, or seeing the sights, the Summer Session in Hawaii is your chance to experience the wonder of our 50th state.
